the shortest day and longest night of the year. Our little town is blanketed with a heavy snow. The winds are coming out of the East, which means more of a chill in the air. I attempted to "catch" the heavy snow falling from the power lines... unsuccessful.
I went to the park today at lunch. Bundled up in my coat, gloves, and winter boots . The snow falling from the sky, visions of autumn no more. The sky is grey and the sun seems farther away. Fitting I guess...
The "bright" side is this is it. After tonight, things will be a little brighter for a little longer.
