Day 11/365

This was before I figured out the correct shutter speed... but still a fun pic nonetheless.

The moon tonight... and all the things they say about peoples behavior on the nights of full moons are true true true!!

Day 7/365

I have to laugh at my thought process sometimes. I was getting fixed for work, and the rolling stones came on the radio. It kind of felt like stars a lining... The first real album I remember was Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones. The album cover was a close up of a pair of pants, with a zipper.... Well while I was getting ready I threw my pants on my bed, and I laughed out loud.! Thus my inspiration for todays shot!

Day 6/365

I have to be honest, while I was shooting yesterday I REALLY didn't want to go outside because it was freezing. So I had this idea about the glasses that are in my cupboards, and I took many pictures and found them all very uninteresting... The reason why I wanted pictures of my cups were because they are glass. Being a mother you evaluate and strategize your battles. One battle I was tired of fighting early on were broken glasses. Money to replace them, pieces that were missed when sweeping up the remains, and over all frustration... I opted to just buy plastic, and have done so for about 20 years. A few months ago it occurred to me that now is the time to purchase real glasses. Silly I know, but a true story nonetheless. The spoons are two different sizes, and the reason for this is when visiting my younger brother recently... My sister-in-law made a wonderful clam chowder, and when we were setting the table my brother asked me if I wanted a big spoon or a little spoon. I told him big of course, since I have a big mouth... = ) I have never been the prim and proper sort of girl. My father married a couple of times when I was young trying to have a woman be a good role model for me... all of them tried, and all failed miserable on many levels to mold me into a "lady". So this shot is a look at where I am at... I'm still using big spoons, but am drinking out of real glasses. I am a cup half full kind of person most days. I make it a point to try and fill the cups around me with what they are lacking... inspiration, friendship, hope, joy, understanding, love, loyalty, safety.

Cheers!

Day 5/365

This was the first shot of the day... Mental Note: pay attention to settings. I was standing at the door looking at all the frost and became overwhelmed as to what I saw. THEN I realized everything on my camera was on auto lol.

This is the shot I wanted... I stopped being a sissy la la and stepped outside. I wish I had a magical story about my clothesline.... yeah, I don't!

Day 4/365

This is me waiting to pick up my son. This is what hangs from my rear view mirror. The "M" my Pop's made for me out of the balsa wood I had bought him. The beads are from a trip the Kimpossible and I took to Lava Hot Springs. I took this photo with the intention of the 365 day project. I feel like I'm cheating just a little, although I have been taking pictures NEARLY everyday since I bought my Nikon. Guilty or not I'm caught up, and I'm focused on reaching my goal.

Day 3/365

These marvelous red sneakers are part of the Kimpossible's wardrobe. Kimmy aka Kimpossible is my very best friend. She came to see me after hitting a deer on her way to E-Town. The deer was not part of the planned adventure, but I'm grateful her kids and herself were not harmed. Only the right side of her SUV which is insured (actually her whole vehicle is insured lol). When I seen her shoes I knew I had to have a picture of them... they seem like the type of sneakers that make your feet happy!

Day 2/365

I'm still figuring out things with my camera. I should mention my favorite flower is a daisy. If you look closely you will see my 95lb Golden Retriever rolling in the snow (that was a great oversight on my part because I hadn't intended for Doctor Julius McDreamy to be part of the shot).

Day 1/365

When I took this photograph, I hadn't intended it to be the first in project 365. I took this photo with the idea of giving a visual to recess... When I realized you do not have to start the project on January 1st.... So in all things that are Mony, and staying true to myself, dancing to the own beat of my own drum I begin my journey...

I took this on my lunch break at the park, thinking of the many playgrounds I have played on in my life time.
