Day 255/365

What an interesting week I have had, full of highs and lows. My typical approach to--- most everything is head down full speed, go and go and go until I drop. Being the single mother of two boys(now men) this approach was the only way I knew how to keep up. I am finding a different way, I'm learning I no longer have to run into the ground. There seems to be a strange calm happening. I have determined it has everything to do with where I am in my life. The dynamics are peculiar, dare I say foreign. I am transitioning, letting go of ALL the worry and watching as the next generation makes its way... (that sounded really convincing, I almost believed it myself-here is the thing-the letting go part is almost like severing a limb... if your a tree its not all that bad because new sprouts grow all the time. Being human, well you have limited amount of limbs). Its all part of the process and continuing to move and grow is (for me) the goal. My youngest asked my why I have recently come to have so many hobbies... I just looked at him and smiled thinking to myself, so I don't drive you and your brother up the frickin wall!

DYNAMIC
adj: of or relating to physical force producing motion: energetic, forceful

When I first seen the word prompt I thought instantly of color... This proves you can ALWAYS change your mind :) It has been a long cold week (I worked 10 days in a row and have every intention of making this an EXTREMELY lazy weekend).  The weather finally broke and the temperature came up just enough to start melting the snow. As soon as I opened up my car door I could hear the drops hitting the blacktop. I started taking pictures under my carport and eventually ended up in my back yard... Ever since I seen J's raindrop shot I have tried endlessly to capture a drop and ripple... Just so you know its NOT as easy as you might think (at least for me it wasn't)! "Physical force Producing motion" - water is amazing- a force of nature which can and DOES produce motion. It smooths the roughest of edges. It widens the narrowest of streams. It can with only a drop, ripple into a hundred rings. It also always manages to find its way back...
